Transit Service Changes Coming February 15
Mark your calendars, transit riders! Starting Sunday, February 15, Sun Tran and Sun Shuttle are updating their schedules and routes to keep the community moving smoothly. Riders are encouraged to view their route changes and plan ahead.
The following Sun Tran and Sun Shuttle routes will have schedule changes: 2, 6, 10, 11, 25, 29, 401, 412, 413, 421X 430, 440, 450 and 486. Additionally, Sun Tran Route 2 and 15 will have route changes. The good news is these changes will not impact any rider bus stops!
Sun Shuttle Route 401 and 486 will also have route changes. Additionally, routes 401, 413 and 486 will have a number of stops removed and/or added.
Sun Tran Route 22 will be permanently discontinued on February 15. Riders who rely on transit to and from the Speedway Boulevard and Silverbell Road area have other transit options such as:
- Route 5 – Pima Street/West Speedway Boulevard
- Route 9 – Grant Road
- Route 21 – West Congress Street/Silverbell Road
- Sun on Demand (Zone 1) – The flexible, on-demand ride option!
