FREE EVENT:
Oro Valley Parks and Recreation will be hosting a FREE community event for those with furry family dogs at home. Join the fun on Saturday, October 18th from 5pm-8pm at Steam Pump Ranch for Bark in the Park. Bring your family, friends and doggies! The Dog Costume Contest will have on-site registration the day of the event. Entry is free!
Event Features:
- meet adoptable dogs
- eat at amazing food trucks (both main dish and dessert!)
- puppy dog crafts for kids
- participate in the dog costume contest
- peruse local pet-related business/organization booths
- strike a pose in the Bark in the Park themed photo booth with printable photo strips!
- support UA College of Veterinary Medicine in their amplification of the Purple Leash Project – a nonprofit dedicated raising awareness and increasing access for those with pets seeking accomodation in domestic violence shelters
Please keep in mind that dogs must be leashed (6 ft non-retractable leash) and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
