To thank the community for its support, while offering budget-friendly staycation fun for families, Reid Park Zoo is once again offering its $3 Ticket Tuesdays for 2026.  Every Tuesday in June and July daytime admission is $3 per person at the gate. As always, Zoo members can visit daily for free.

Zoo summer hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Guests are advised to come early when they can see the Zoo and the animals waking up for the day.

Guests can meet some additions at the Zoo this summer, including Ndizi (pronounced In-Dee-Zee), a male reticulated giraffe calf born in February, who has been delighting guests with his curious and energetic play. They can unwind with Antonio and Chocolate, a pair of capybaras who love swimming in their pool in the South American loop. During daily zoo keeper experiences, guests can get the inside scoop on their favorite animals, learn about their care, and see them getting some cool enrichment treats such as ice pops. Kids can get the wiggles out in the World of Play Discovery Zone with its chilly indoor Antarctic ice cave and sensory activities.

Regular Zoo admission prices are $12.00 for adults ages 15-61, $10 for seniors ages 62 and greater, $8.50 for children ages 2 to 14, and free for children under 2.
