I had an interview with actor Camden Kwok, who is one of the stars in the upcoming Broadway in Tucson play, “Elf: The Musical.” I sat down with Camden and asked him some interesting questions for our readers.
I asked what his character is in the musical “Elf.” He said his character is Michael Hobbs but he and another kid switch roles, so sometimes he plays a different character. Next, I asked how he got started as an actor? He said his mom was an actress and he asked to be her scene partner. Then, I asked him what he likes about this play, and he said it’s fun, energetic, and magical.
I asked what it is like being in front of a big audience. Camden said it’s scary at first, but with all the lights in your face you can’t even see them. He said working with new people is a lot of fun, but they did their tour last year and pretty much everyone came back again this year, with only a few new people.
After that, I asked does he like the movie “Elf.” To which he said, “Yes, I do!” I asked what his favorite TV show or play he has been in was. He answered Elf! He loved being in that play! (He did it last year, too).
Randomly, I asked what his favorite color was. He said that it’s purple (that’s my old favorite color). He also told me his favorite food is called pho, and it’s Vietnamese.
Lastly, I asked Camden if he could be in any TV show or play, what would it be? He said that he would love to be in a Marvel movie. He also said he loves a Broadway show called “Two Strangers Carry a Cake Across New York.” He also recommends that the readers check out a TV show called “Dog with a Blog” on Disney+.
