2025 Phoenix Fall & Halloween Events

Fall is here! It’s time to select the perfect pumpkin to carve, decide on a costume to wear and to enjoy some family-friendly events in the cooler evening air.
There are many free and family-priced events to choose from. Some offer a corn maze, Trunk-or-Treat, carnival rides, games, arts and crafts, live performances much more. Find some fun things to do in the following listings.
Sept. 27–Nov 2 Mother Nature’s Farm Pumpkin Patch
1663 E. Baseline Rd., Gilbert 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mon–Sun
Explore the pumpkin patch, straw bale maze, hayride, spider web crawl, pedal cars, corn pit, tire mountain, and more. Entrance fee includes a Wizard of OZ pumpkin to take home. $17 per person.
Oct. 1–31 Pumpkin Days & Corn Maze at Tolmachoff Farms
5726 N. 75th Ave., Glendale. Hours vary.
Find your perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. Navigate your way through the family and mini maze, experience the petting zoo, jumping pillow, corn box and play areas. $20 per person. No charge for children 1 and under.
Oct. 2–31 Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party
24810 S. Rittenhouse Rd., Queen Creek. Days, times, & prices vary.
Enjoy the hay rides, roller coaster, honeybee adventure ride, hyperloop extreme ride, peddle train ride, jumping pillows, and more. Satisfy your hunger and thirst at the chili grill or try some roasted corn, funnel cakes and lemonade. $25.95 per person. No charge for children 2 and under. Oct 3 – Nov 2 Fall Festival at Vertuccio Farms
4011 S. Power Rd., Mesa. Hours vary.
Families will have fun with activities like pig race ride, ropes course, corn maze, petting zoo, super mega slide, carnival games, and more. $17 per person and ages 2 yrs and under are free.
Oct. 19 Pirate’s Day at Enchanted Island Amusement Park
1202 W. Encanto Blvd., Phoenix. 11a.m.–7 p.m.
Dress like a pirate and see live circus acts with juggling, balancing and acrobatics, fire-eaters and tight rope performers. Enjoy pirate activities, games and a treasure hunt. General admission $12.17–$30.80 plus tax.
Oct. 22–24 Spooky Safari at the Phoenix Zoo
455 W. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix. 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Put on your costume and bring a bag to collect goodies. Enjoy activities, candy treat stations, games, face painting and more. $18 per person. No charge for children 2 & under.
Oct. 24–26 Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival
Salt River Fields, 7555 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale 5–9:30 p.m.
Over 20+ hot air balloons from around the country join in the Halloween festivities this year! Each balloon will be a trick-or-treat station with candy & treats handed out all night long! Spooky costume contests, tethered balloon rides, and 4,000 pounds of candy! Ticket prices vary.
Oct. 24 Tempe’s Family BOO Bash
Kiwanis Park–North soccer fields, Tempe 6–10 p.m.
Free family fun with train rides, a dance party, costume contest and parade.
Bring your blankets and settled in for our featured flick, Monsters, Inc. (G). Bring money for concessions and carnival games.
Oct. 25 & 26 Dia de los Muertos Festival Mesa
Mesa Arts Center, 1 East Main St. (Sat 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Sun 10 a.m.–5 p.m)
Celebrate at this free annual event. Performances, music, food and activities.
Oct. 25 Spooky Sprint 5K at Valley of the Sun YMCA
Tempe Family YMCA, 7070 S. Rural Road. 7am-11am
6th annual Spooky Sprint 5K road race. All proceeds help send kids to camp at the Y. Costume contest and prizes.
Oct. 26 Apache Junction Halloween Festival
Superstition Shadows Park, 1091 W. Southern Ave. 4–8 p.m.
Trunk or treat, costume contest for humans and canines, inflatables and crafts. Festival and all activities are Free.
Oct. 31 Chandler Halloween Spooktacular
Dr. A.J. Chandler Park, 178 E. Commonwealth Ave. 5:30–8:30 p.m.
A boo-nanza of spooky shenanigans that are sure to delight ghouls and boos of all ages. Gather your lil’ ghosts and goblins and trick-or-treat your way through Downtown Chandler where you’ll enjoy a family night filled with spirited fun. Free admission–food and beverages will be available for sale.

Nov 8 Nature Fest Phoenix
Rio Salado 7th Ave. Trailhead, Phoenix, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. with an 8 a.m. River Clean Up.
